The Seven Families
The Seven Families are the corporate-descended dynasties that dominate every major structure of life in Neo-Europa. While they govern together in the Council of Nobles, their power is not purely political—it is economic, mythological, technological, and deeply interwoven with the city’s architecture and cyberspace.
Each Family descends from a medieval patrician lineage that survived the Great Fragmentation War by transitioning into a megacorporate form. These Houses now control key sectors of Neo-Europa’s infrastructure, from neural interfaces and virtual entertainment to planetary logistics and emotion governance.
🛡️ The Families
🧬 Overview of the Seven
Serhugh Group
Urban developers, vertical planners, and architects of Neo-Europa’s spatial hierarchy. They control real estate, zoning law, and most civil infrastructure. Known for brutal verticalism and deeply embedded memory systems in architecture.
Codenberg Corp
Leaders in neural augmentation and cyber-medical technology. Their implants define modern existence—from civilian prosthetics to Spacer access devices. They are respected, feared, and almost entirely post-human.
Sleus Dynatek
The network lords of Neo-Europa. Their invisible mesh powers the Cypherspace grid, data transmission, and nearly every digital service layer. Often seen as utilities—but they know everything.
Swert Systems
Guardians of cybersecurity, firewalls, and digital identity. Their aesthetic is cyber-samurai meets cold encryption. They also police rogue AI activity and mask myth-bleed from Chapel Nodes.
Serolov Conglomerate
Infrastructure builders and efficiency tyrants. Their roads, tunnels, and highways are impenetrable but rumored to be tombs for the dissenters who built them. Pragmatic, philosophical, and quietly terrifying.
Stenweg Cyber
Entertainment giants, creators of dreams, VR holidays, AI intimacy systems, and mythplay. Hedonistic and surreal, they control Glimmeredge and treat pleasure as governance.
Rodenbex Industries
The hospitality syndicate and surveillance masters. Every hotel, bed & breakfast, and concierge suite gathers data for the Rodenbex intelligence web. Warm in appearance, calculating beneath.
🏛️ Role vs. Identity
While the Council of Nobles is the formal political body that governs Neo-Europa, the Seven Families are older and more embedded than any legislative or executive framework. They maintain private militias, influence Chapel Nodes, shape civil identity through implants or leisure, and sometimes engage in ritualized warfare via Veil Realms.
To study the Seven is not to understand policy—it is to understand power in its cultural, architectural, and ancestral forms.
Allegiances and Rivalries
The relationships between the Seven Families of Neo-Europa are fluid, shifting with each scandal, alliance, or betrayal. While public cooperation is expected within the Council of Nobles, behind the scenes, feuds and favors shape the city’s future.
