Cybernaut Network:About

From Cybernaut Network

Welcome to Neo-Europa, a collaborative worldbuilding and storytelling project set in a cyberpunk future where digital gods whisper through Chapel Nodes, aristocratic megacorporations govern from chrome towers, and memory is both currency and curse.

What Is Neo-Europa?

Neo-Europa is a fictional setting created as a love letter to classic and modern cyberpunk. It draws inspiration from works like Neuromancer, Blade Runner, Snow Crash, and Disco Elysium—then runs it through a distinctly European filter with medieval echoes and dystopian verticality.

The project blends narrative fiction, cyber-fantasy politics, speculative technology, and immersive design to build a consistent world you can read, write in, or explore. Think of it as Dark Age dynasties meet neural implants and AI pantheons, all built on a MediaWiki framework.

What This Site Contains

This wiki is an archive of:

  • Original lore articles and worldbuilding material
  • Short stories set in the Neo-Europa universe
  • Cyberpunk factions, corporate dynasties, and slum mythology
  • Technology concepts (e.g., Spinal Gates, Cypherspace, rogue ICE)
  • Fictional biographies and Council politics
  • Maps, timelines, and immersive design elements

Some stories and articles are written by hired authors contributing to the project through the Cybernaut Network. Others may be contributed by trusted members of the community.

What's In-Character vs. Out-of-Character?

Pages written in-character reflect the voices, myths, or records of citizens, nobles, or systems within Neo-Europa. These entries are part of the fiction.

This page, and other Out of Character sections, are written by real-world contributors to clarify project goals, credits, or administrative information.

Who Created This?

Neo-Europa was initiated and developed by a creative team passionate about speculative fiction, historical structures, and cyberpunk culture. It is not a commercial product, but a collaborative storytelling project open to contributions, adaptations, and iterative expansion.

If you’re reading this, you’re already part of the world.

Can I Contribute?

Currently, editing is limited to invited collaborators and hired authors. If you're interested in joining the creative team, writing stories, or helping with the world’s expansion, reach out through the Contact page.
